Identified as "the only event of its kind" in Africa, the M2M Africa Summit on June 24 to 26, will be held in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. The summit aims to bring groups, organization and other key stakeholders together to share insights, strategies and best practices in creating revenue opportunities for Machine-to-machine technology and the Internet of Things in Africa.
The summit's focal point would be M2M in action to inform participants of successful implementations, as well as present case studies on the global M2M landscape. It will also address the role of M2M the South Africa's wireless ecosystem, discuss different tactical approach and forming important partnerships and alliances for successful delivery of M2M services in Africa. Vertical markets like telematics, mhealth solutions, smart metering and mobile banking are among a few of the sector-specific discussions that will be included.
The summit is designed to cater to the needs of a wide range of audiences from M2M professionals to end-users. And one of the key benefits participants can get from this summit is knowing how to stay ahead of the game. Several designated guest speakers will grace the event including M2M Alliance Treasurer Joachim Dressler and Machina Research's Principal Consultant, Emil Berthelsen.
